MAKING PROCESS OF GEMS PICTURE
Consists of seven stages
- Choosing a photo or a picture
- Choosing bottom slab
- Drawing the sketch on the lab.
- Choosing suitable gems.
- Gem sticking.
- Coating
- Putting into frame.
 First
Choose picture or photo needed to make Gem painting.
 Second
The bottom slab must be able to resist the weight of
the gems.
Fibre slab, Wood slab and Plastic slab can be used.
Fibre slab is used in our picture.
 Third
Draw the sketch on the slab by using photo copy.
 Fourth
Have to choose the quality and the size of the gems
to stick on the sketch.
We used the 10 kinds of gems.
Ruby, Sapphire, Spinel, Jade, Assorted gems, Peridot,
Lapis-lazuli, Garnet, Schorl, marble are used.
 Fifth
Have to use the gem which colour can go with the
original picture.
If need to be transparent, have to use the
transparent gem and stick on the slab by using suitable
glue.
 Sixth
Coat the sticked-picture to be shined by liquor.
 Seventh
Put the gem picture into the frame.
Tapestry wear and wood curving frame are used. |
